Nis has a tradition in rafting long for 19 years. Now we are in agreement with the president of Palilula Municipality Boban Dzunic and decided to include Juzna Morava river that is situated in the edging part of the city. This trace is long three to three and half hours for transit, said Vlasta Stanojevic, president of safari club Nis. Viden Jovanovic, teacher, was in 1998 in Vlasina with his pupils on the excursion. He jumped into lake to save two pupils. He saved then a girl but he drowned together with a boy. Those were the pupils of his last generation, said Goran Jovanovic, Viden`s son. That tragedy happened seven days before his retirement and after 40 years of teaching.
